Why turn HEIC into JPEG?

HEIC stores high-quality photos efficiently, but some upload forms, desktop apps and older devices still cannot open it. JPEG trades some compression efficiency for near-universal support.

01

Correct orientation

Camera orientation is applied before export, avoiding sideways results.

02

Resize responsibly

Set a maximum box while preserving aspect ratio and preventing upscaling.

03

Choose privacy

Strip EXIF by default, or deliberately retain compatible metadata.

Frequently asked questions

Will the JPG look identical?

JPEG uses lossy compression, so very fine pixel differences are possible. A quality setting around 88–94 is a strong choice for photographs.

Will converting improve image quality?

No. Conversion improves compatibility, not source detail. It cannot restore detail missing from the original photo.

What happens to Live Photo motion?

This tool converts the still HEIC image only. The separate video component of an Apple Live Photo is not included.

Is my photo processed in the browser?

No. HEIC support is inconsistent across browsers, so the file is sent securely to ZeeSharp’s conversion server and removed by the temporary processing workflow.
