Frequently asked questions
Can I select pages that are not next to each other?
Yes. Custom selection accepts comma-separated pages and ranges, such as 1,3,5-8,12.
What is the difference between Custom selection and Separate ranges?
Custom selection combines all requested pages into one PDF. Separate ranges creates a distinct PDF for each comma-separated item.
What happens if I enter a page that does not exist?
The server rejects the request with a clear error. It does not silently clamp the number to the nearest valid page.
Can I split a password-protected PDF?
Yes, when you enter the correct current open password.
Why is the result a ZIP?
Several modes produce multiple PDFs. A ZIP keeps all outputs together and preserves useful page-based filenames.
