Frequently asked questions
Is my photo uploaded to ZeeSharp?
No. Parsing happens in your browser. The small usage event sent on Analyze does not contain the image or extracted metadata.
Why does the tool show no metadata?
The file may have been stripped by a social network, messaging app, screenshot tool, editor or privacy setting. The format may also use unsupported metadata structures.
Does opening the map share coordinates?
Yes. Clicking Open map sends the displayed coordinates to the external map provider in a new tab. The tool does not open it automatically.
Can this remove metadata?
This page is read-only. Use ZeeSharp’s EXIF Remover when you want to create a cleaned copy.
Are all manufacturer-specific tags supported?
No. MakerNotes and proprietary fields vary widely. The report includes what the browser parser can safely decode.
