What does tight crop do?

It trims unused space around your strokes while keeping the selected padding.

Does stylus pressure work on every device?

It works when the browser and pen report pressure data. Mouse and finger input use a consistent fallback width.

Is this legally the same as a digital signature?

No. Laws and document requirements vary, and an image does not provide cryptographic certificate verification.
